A little more info …
I love when skirts inspire styling and invites to styling with different colours. This skirt does so indeed. The multicoloured cotton skirt can be styled in so many ways. It is melange with blue, red, light pink, green etc and you can mix with almost all plain summer colors. At the same time the classic, feminine design makes a good base for a cute outfit, whether you choose the more romantic or casual look. It is such a good everyday skirt. The heavy fabric has a nice structure and feels nice against your skin. You feel very well dressed. Use the skirt for ballerinaes, high heels or rubber boots. With pretty shirts or loose fitted sweaters. And of course the skirt has pocket! So you can feel free to go wherever you like! All the best Juliane
A trip to Japan and a little home brought a piece of vintage fabric. This was what started the whole development- and design process of this wonderful fabric. We just brought a little piece at an antic-market in Tokyo, but we were in love with the structure and the way the coloured yarns gave it a multicoloured effect. Out of one simple cut did Massimo (our Italian textile designer) find coloured yarns, and developed a selection of colour-combinations which made it very hard to choose. For this September20 skirt I choose this red/green/blue colour combination. The material consists of 97% cotton and 3% polyester. The material is from Italy and the dress is sewn in Europa at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria. Wash the dress at a delicate/hand wash program in the machine, and afterwards let it dry on a hanger – then it wrinkles less.
The silhouette and fit
The skirt should fit your waist. Be aware that September20 dresses are a lot smaller in the sizing and generally more petite and fitted than McVERDI.
